About us
About iThing AB — an engineering house in Lidköping, Sweden
iThing AB is a Swedish engineering company based at Stålgatan 4 in Lidköping. We develop intelligent connected products from idea to certified production, owning the full chain: mechanics → electronics → embedded → cloud → cybersecurity → compliance.
What we stand for
We work as one team rather than as separate consultants. The same people who design the circuit board are involved when the firmware is written, when the cloud service is built and when the product has to meet its regulatory requirements. That shortens the road from prototype to production and makes the decisions along the way better informed.
Security is not a final step here. The requirements of the EU Cyber Resilience Act and EN 40000-1-2 are built into the architecture from the start, and through our Zyber department we help customers document and prove compliance.
We are based in Lidköping and work closely with customers across Västra Götaland and the rest of Sweden — often as the product development department for companies that do not have the full chain in house.
